We held our first OPINA workshop online on December 4th, 2020. Participants included representatives and stakeholders from the automotive industry, R&D organizations, OEMs and related associations.

The overall goal of the workshop was to share our progress with OPINA and listen to all of the participants as we discussed the future and how to develop the OPINA Platform and Cluster.

The program commenced with welcoming speeches given by our team leaders and continued with presentations by our esteemed international and national guests. The topics that were covered were: Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) strategic research and analysis, the Turkish national connected and autonomous vehicle (AV) technology roadmap,  building successful clusters and lessons learned from different European clusters.

During the afternoon sessions, participants broke out into two groups, based on their backgrounds and interests, to discuss topics relating to the OPINA Cluster and Portal Requirements and the OPINA Architecture and its Requirements.

The day concluded with presentations by our session moderators, summarizing the day’s events.

In the future, we expect to hold at least two workshops a year, so we hope that you will be able to join us once again soon!

With the other side of the COVID-19 crisis now on the horizon, we look forward to meeting you in person once again, healthy and safe, because, together, we will radically transform mobility – making it safe and accessible to all.
